Lexa’s mother asks for prayers and the team postpones appointments after hospitalization

Lexa had a complication during her pregnancy; she is expecting her first daughter

Hospitalized in serious condition since last Monday (20th), Lexa is in the semi-intensive department of a hospital in São Paulo due to complications caused by preeclampsia. The singer is 23 weeks pregnant.

“I want to ask all those who are worried about this very delicate moment that my family is facing: pray for us”wrote Darlin, who is also his daughter’s manager. Ricardo ViannaLexa’s boyfriend and father of the child, has reinforced at this moment the request for respect for the family’s privacy.

“Thank you for everyone’s love and concern. I would really like your help in honoring this moment so I can focus on Lexa and our daughter’s recovery. All of our energy is focused on this now.”the actor said. Lexa, who has been closely monitored by Darlin and Ricardo in the hospital, is faced with a serious situation.

Preeclampsia, the condition responsible for the singer’s hospitalization, is characterized by an excessive increase in blood pressure, which can cause serious health risks for the mother and baby, including placental abruption and premature birth. Lexa’s team officially announced, again this Wednesday (22nd), that the singer’s professional commitments scheduled for the next few months have been postponed.
