“When I met this man, I had a boyfriend and he tried to befriend him to get my home phone number. “He got my number and was calling me to ask me out,” she said.
Given the rejection she received, she believes the now-president would have retaliated publicly against her, wanting to damage her image.

After learning what happened, Noah joked, stressing to Hayek that the leader “was right” to end up breaking up with the couple.
