After security tried to stop a fan invading the show, the guitarist managed to get back on stage and was cheered by the audience.

Tom Morello, the guitarist of Rage Against the Machine, was accidentally knocked off the stage where he was performing with the band on Saturday 23. The show was taking place in Toronto, Canada when a fan ran down the side stairs and invaded the stage during the show of the song. Kill in the name. A security guard tried to stop the intruder, but ended up knocking out Tom Morello.
The fan managed to dodge the first security guard, but you can see in the video below that he is approached by other team members as he tries to jump the fence and return to the crowd.
A few seconds after the fall, Zack de la Rocha he interrupted the performance and yelled into the microphone for the band to pause the song: “Safe, hold”. Then Morello manages to get up from the gap between the stage and the speakers and, upon his return, is applauded by the audience.
La Rocha, who made her presentation seated due to a leg injury, sent a message to the audience: “We’re great, we love you … but don’t.”
