Bruna Lombardi turns 70 on Monday 1st. The actress has retraced her successes on the small screen and compiled a list of her favorite works of hers. Bruna is also a model, producer, screenwriter and writer. She says she is a curious student and a devoted author, with a devotion to literature.
The 70-year-old rejects criticism of her age and says she has learned to manage attempts to belittle throughout her career. “I have never accepted any kind of prejudice or limitation. I have been asked many times about this issue, in fact, in all phases of my existence,” she says.
Despite starting a life of exposure as a teenager and spending more than 50 years in the media, Bruna says she never wanted fame. However, she acknowledges that her stardom was essential to turning her books into best sellers, funding her studies and bringing her to “interesting people”.
