Seven months after Chiquis made several accusations against her uncles, Rosie and Juan, after receiving the results of the audit of Jenni Rivera Enterprises, LLC and Jenni Rivera Fashion LLC requested by her brother Johnny, Lupillo Rivera reiterated his support for his nephews.
It was on Jan. 5 that the 37-year-old singer alleged that Rosie demanded $165,000 to leave her position as executor of Jenni Rivera’s estate and her companies.
Likewise, Chiquis claimed that her uncle Juan demanded almost $300,000 for working for a time at Jenni Rivera Enterprises LLC, which she called unjustified.
Jenni’s daughter also defended that her brother, Johnny, is asking for an audit of the account that collects the inheritance money.
After the remarks, both Rosie and Juan hit back at the “Queen Bee” interpreter, while Lupilo showed his support in a comment on his Instagram account.
“You are doing nothing wrong and yes, your mother’s legacy is yours, nothing more than yours,” is part of what he wrote.
Lupillo Rivera continues to support Chiquis and her siblings
This August 1, before the microphone of Grupo Imagen, Lupillo Rivera was asked about the new management of his sister’s inheritance, which currently belongs to his niece Jacqie.
The ‘Despreciado’ actor confirmed that he supports both Chiquis and his siblings since he strongly believes that Jenni worked for them and for them.
“I think my sister worked for her children, she worked for the welfare of her children, not for the welfare of her uncles or the welfare of anybody else,” he pointed out.
As he made clear when his sister’s older daughter made her controversial statements against Rosie and Juan, Lupilo continues to support her, as do her siblings.
“I think someone should be with the nephews 100%,” said the uncle of Chiquis, Jacqie, Jenicka, Johnny and Michael.
The singer added that “all the fans” also “need to be with the nephews, if they’re Jenny’s fans, basically we have to support the kids.”
Lupilo Rivera wants to mentor his nephews
Amid the controversy, last February, Lupilo Rivera expressed his desire to become a driver for the children of his sister, who died in an accident on December 9, 2012.
“My responsibility as an uncle is to teach them a little of what I know about life, to advise them on good things, to advise them on the right things that make them feel good,” he commented in an interview with “Ventaneando”.
At the time, “El Toro del Corrido” responded to his brother Juan, who threatened to sue him for allegedly soliciting money from his nephews: “I will gladly pay the lawsuit,” he declared.
