The SBT has made official the resignation of Felipe Macedo, known as Macedão da Chinelada, a month after taking on to present the new version of the program here now. The departure occurred even before its effective debut at the national station and results from the defines and subsequent suspension of the journalistic project planned for the late afternoon.
Without any function defined after the postponement of the news, the contract was resolved discreetly, without official ads directly from the channel.
Test not verified in Tá at time
During the period in which he was waiting for the debut of the here now, the presenter participated in an edition of Tá Na Hora, on June 9, together with Daniele Brandi. However, the performance of a single day was severely criticized by the public on social networks. The negative welcome was attributed to the performative style of the journalist, to his forced tone of voice and the lack of melody with his bench colleague.
The improvised exhibition, which was not clear from SBT, generated even more confusion among the spectators. The canal said that it was a punctual participation, while Macedo himself said he asked to leave in order not to adapt to the format.
“When I appeared next to Dani Brandi, the Internet came to the ground. Everyone said it was the fault of the Macedão of everything,” he said in an interview with Massa FM. “I was more disconcerted than the deaf in the Bingo,” he added, in a tone of outburst.
Return to Londrrrina after direct intervention
Subsequently, Felipe Macedo reported on his Instagram profile that he returned to the liability of the Tribuna da Massa on TV Cidade, affiliated to SBT in Londrrina. The return was made possible by a personal request by the businessman and the communicator Carlos Massa, the mouse.
“People asked and participated. Macedão is a patrimony of Paraná,” said Ratinho, justifying reintegration.
In the publication, the presenter celebrated the return and promised to reconnect with the spectators of the region: “stronger, more mature and based, Macedão promises to save the direct connection with the people”.
With his return to Paraná, Guilherme Rivaroli, who had taken the place in the mass tribune, will be transferred to TV heal, affiliated to the same network in Ponta Grossa. Both broadcasters belong to Rede Massa, from the group led by Ratinho.
End of the project here now
Macedão’s departure also represented the definitive closure of the relaunch of here now. The proposal, conceived by Mauro Lissoni, was already facing the internal resistance and was abandoned by the top of the canal in the face of acceptance and structure problems.
The issuer has chosen to focus the efforts on the consolidation of Tá No Hora, currently commanded by Daniele Brandi, also with the difficulties faced by his reformulation.
The reformulation of the program started in May did not get the expected results. Despite the variations of the last minute, public rates remain below expectations. According to Ibope Data, SBT remains far from the vice-leader, currently occupied for records, on average from 7:00 to midnight (Brazilian time).
