Diogo Jota, Portuguese striker in Liverpool, died at the age of 28 after a car accident in Zamora, in northern Spain, together with his brother André Silva, 25 years old, who did not resist.

According to the local police, the car in which Diogo Jota and his brother were driving through A-52, a federal highway in Spain, near Sanadria, when one of the tires broke out during a overtaking, throwing the car from the track. The vehicle has still caught fire.

The Civil Guard of Spain suspects that acceleration, combined with bad road conditions, is the cause of the accident. The information comes from the Spanish newspaper El Country.
