Amanda Seyfried, who rarely gives interviews, posed for the new issue of Porter magazine. The photo shoot was done in a rural style, and the 36-year-old actress herself was in relaxed looks – watch the full shooting on our Telegram channel. In an interview accompanying the footage, she talked about being candid about filming at a young age and self-confidence.
Amanda admitted that she would like to start her acting career these days, because now there are intimate scene coordinators on the set who help to avoid embarrassing situations with other actors and with the director. In addition, the actors themselves are now more free in expression and are not afraid to express their own discomfort. At the very beginning of her film career, Amanda did not argue with the director, as she was afraid of being left without work – now she perceives this as wildness.
It is not known which film Amanda had in mind, as she has appeared nude on screen more than once in her career. So, she starred in explicit scenes in the films “Chloe” and “Dear John”.
At the age of 19 I went without underwear – are you kidding me? How did I let this happen? Oh, I know how: I was 19, I didn’t want to upset anyone, and I didn’t want to lose my job, that’s why.

Now Amanda has become much more confident in herself and has learned to defend her point of view and boundaries during filming:
Being confident is actually very important. Nothing can break me completely when it comes to work. I’m indestructible! Nothing can ruin my life unless it’s related to my family. There is a certain degree of respect that I have never felt for myself as much as I do now. It has nothing to do with the level of fame, recognition or critical acclaim. I am respected because I am 36 years old and I know who the hell I am.
She added that, despite her confidence, she is sometimes frustrated. One of the biggest is the loss of the role of Glinda in the movie Wicked, which was given to singer Ariana Grande.
This does not mean that work cannot upset me. I lost a big role that I really wanted – well, I thought I did. It devastated me, but it didn’t make me less confident.
