Hungary Advisory presents the laboratory result indicating substance above the reference limit, contrary to the official position.
The Hip Hop rapper’s staff disputed information released by the Ministry of Health stating that laboratory tests detected methanol in the artist’s blood. The statement was made on Wednesday (8), three days after the singer was discharged from the DF Star hospital in Brasilia, where he was hospitalized for four days with symptoms compatible with substance intoxication.
According to the musician’s team, the analyzes performed by the Richet Laboratory of Rede d’Or identified the methanol in the rapper’s blood in quantities “above the reference limit”. This discovery directly contradicts the position of the Ministry of Health, which on Monday (6) declared that the artist’s tests did not indicate the presence of the substance.
The 34-year-old rapper was admitted to hospital on Thursday (2) and remained under medical care until Sunday (5). The hospitalization occurred after having had clinical conditions compatible with methanol poisoning, a potentially toxic substance.
The divergence between the results presented by the consultancy and the official information from the Ministry of Health raises questions about the analysis and communication procedures between the institutions involved in the case.
In a report, Portal G1 reported that the health department said it “did not receive” official results that proved methanol intoxication in the singer’s body, which could explain the contradictory information disclosed.
