Emma Heming Willis talks once again about family challenges given the health conditions of her husband, the actor Bruce Willis. In an interview with the magazine VogueAustraliaEmma has told how she and her daughters are coping with the Hollywood star’s advanced diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia.



In the interview, Heming revealed that the family is already grieving over the actor’s condition. “I’ve had to learn to live with this pain. It’s always with me. I can’t get rid of it, but I will breathe, I will be sad and I will have all the feelings and emotions that I need to feel,” she said.

Since the diagnosis was made public in 2023, Willis has retired from filmmaking and stepped away from the spotlight. As the disease progressed, the family became responsible for communicating with the artist, sharing only specific accounts and records of treatment.

Heming also revealed what his daughters are like Mabel13 e Evelyn11 years old, they are facing the absence of their father. In August, Emma decided for her husband to live in a separate house, trying to provide greater peace of mind for the family and, at the same time, ensure a favorable environment for her daughters to have children. “I think they’re doing well, all things considered. But it’s hard. They’re in pain. They miss their dad a lot. They miss milestones. But kids are resilient,” Heming explained. “I don’t know if my daughters will ever recover, but we are learning,” she added.
