The wedding season is coming in the royal family of Jordan: a month after Princess Iman decided to tie the knot with her older brother. Last night, the royal palace announced the engagement of the Crown Prince of Jordan Al Hussein bin Abdullah II with a citizen of Saudi Arabia, Rajwa Khaled bin Musaid bin Saif bin Abdulaziz al-Saif. As stated in the release, the engagement ceremony took place at the house of the father of the bride in the capital of the Kingdom of Riyadh. It was attended by the groom’s parents – King Abdullah II of Jordan and Queen Rania al-Abdallah – and the bride’s family, as well as Hussein’s brother and sisters.
I didn’t think my heart could rejoice so much! Congratulations to my eldest Prince Hussain and his beautiful future wife Rajwa,” Queen Rania wrote in a post on her official social media page.
Whether one big magnificent celebration will be arranged for Prince Hussein, Princess Iman and their halves, or two weddings will be held in the country one after another, is not reported.

According to Al Arabia, the future wife of the main heir to the Jordanian throne, the daughter of a Saudi businessman, was born in Riyadh on April 28, 1994 (she is exactly two months older than her lover – Hussein was born on June 28 of the same year), she has two older brother and older sister. The girl received her secondary education in Saudi Arabia, and her higher education at the School of Architecture at Syracuse University in New York.
Hussain received a bachelor’s degree in international history from Georgetown University in Washington in 2016 and graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the UK in 2017. He has been the direct heir to the throne since 2004.
Last year Prince Hussein took part in an official foreign trip for the first time during visit to the USA, where, together with his parents, he met with President Joe Biden and his wife Jill. And in November 2021, the royal couple hosted the heir to the British crown Prince Charles with his wife, Duchess Camilla of Cornwall.
