Nine former ministers of justice Ripudiano Trump and “abusive intervention” at the Stf

A group of nine former ministers of the Court issued on Monday 21, manifests itself in solidarity with the Federal Supreme Court and its magistrates, eight in all – the sanctions of the government of Donal Trump of sanctions that had revoked their American visas. They indicate an “improper coercion” and retaliation for the independence of contradictory interests by large US companies. ‘

The document is registered by the former Ministers of Justice Eugênio Aragão, José Carlos Dias, José Eduardo Cardozo, Miguel Reale Júnior, Milton Seligmann, Nelson Jobim, Raul Jungmann, Tarsus Genro and Torquato Jardim.

The sanction of the White House at the Stf ministers and also to the prosecutor General Paulo Gonet – extended to family members – was imposed on Friday 18, after Alexandre de Moraes, Stf minister, who left the night and the monitoring of a serious surveillance regime.

“If the introduction into the process were not sufficient, in which the wide defense and the contradictory were guaranteed, the United States government promoted the persecution of eight Stf ministers, revoking their visas, extending to their relatives,” says the manifesto of the former justice ministers.

They declare “this abusive intervention” and solidarity with the Supreme Court and their ministers “, victims of an improper coercion that aims to embarrass them in their freedom of decision and to take revenge on the courage and independence of contractual interests from large US companies”.

In the evaluation of the former ministers of justice, “this claim of Trump and the United States would be ridiculous to interfere with the trial, subjected to the right legal trial, and the political agents of the defendants and a former president, who acted against democracy, if there was no declaration inadmissible to our sovereign, as well as the delusional disorder of the current government of the United States”.

“In the name of the defense of Brazil sovereignty, we present our profound solidarity with the Supreme Court and its members”, concludes the “repudiation of the manifesto of the invasion”.

Repudiation of the invasion

The American government of the United States and its president, in an authoritative way, claimed to consider the judicial work of our Supreme Court, the Supreme Court, even considering that criminal actions, regarding crimes against the state of democratic law, would constitute a “witch hunt”.

It would be only ridiculous for Trump and the United States of America interfere with the trial, subject to the right process of law, being political agents of the defendants and a former president, who acted against democracy, if there was no declaration inadmissible to our sovereignty, as well as to the delusional disorder of the current United States government.

If the introduction into the process was not enough, in which the wide defense and the contradictory were guaranteed, the United States government promoted the persecution of eight Stf ministers, revoking their visas, extending to their relatives.

A few years ago, the United States of America had reduced the arrogance to put higher than all other countries. This arrogance returns, considerably, in the new mandate of President Trump and threatens peace, coexistence between countries, multilateralism and the effectiveness of helping vulnerable populations all over the world.

Therefore, we manifest, as former ministers of justice and public security, our repudiation of this abusive intervention and our solidarity with the Supreme Court and their ministers, victims of improper coercion, aimed at embarrassing them in their freedom of decision and retaliation of the courage and the independence of the contradictory interests of American companies.

In defense of Brazil’s sovereignty, we present our profound solidarity with the Supreme Court and its members.
