She wanted to know why her case had been dismissed, as she filed lawsuits in 2017, accusing the actor of raping her in her New York apartment. According to her, prosecutors mistakenly believed that she wanted to remain anonymous and not press charges. With that, the case was closed.
Lisa told CNN she was “devastated” that the police did not investigate her allegations when they were made. She sent emails indicating that the case had also been closed when she was willing to give depositions and hand over the clothes she wore for the day.
NYPD declined to comment on the case, but is in contact with the woman to discuss the progress of the investigation, search for messages and contact possible witnesses. Despite this, Ratray has not so far been officially charged with Lisa’s allegations.

According to a CNN report, Lisa claims she was friends with Ratray for 15 years before the rape took place. She claims to have met the actor, another friend and her brother at a New York bar on the night of September 21, 2017.
Later, the group went to Ratray’s apartment, where he served his friends drinks, but, according to Lisa, insisted that he drink from a specific cup. She says that after drinking she felt extremely tired and the actor insisted that she sleep on the sofa. Therefore, she believes she has been drugged.
“I remember waking up and not being able to move. I couldn’t open my eyes, but I could hear what was happening and feel what was happening. I knew the other two people were gone and I was still on the sofa,” he said. .
She reportedly left the post after 2pm the next day and was initially reluctant to go to the police as she had already been sexually abused on another occasion and felt that the authorities had not treated her well. The NYPD confirmed that Lisa had already set another record.
A few weeks later, after telling friends and brother about the incident, he decided to file a complaint. She also allegedly confronted Ratray the day after the crime via text message, to which he replied saying that the relationship was consensual.
