The photographer sues Miley Cyrus for copyright omission in the singer’s publication

The alleged image was posted on the actress’s Instagram in February 2021

With over 1,100 posts on Instagram, Miley Cyrus is processed by one of them. According to the author of one of these images, photographer Robert Barbera, the singer has no authorization for such use. The information comes from Bloomberg law.

Barbera filed the lawsuit against the artist last Friday, 9, in the federal court of California, in the United States. According to him, the image, used without permission, was published by Miley in February 2021.

The photographer also claims that the singer received a financial benefit from the publication. “The inadmissible use of Cyrus has damaged, if not destroyed, the potential of any photography market,” said the professional.

Miley Cyrus, however, is not the first celebrity to be sued by Barbera. The photographer has already appealed to Justice for similar reasons against Dua Lipa, Jennifer Hudson, Emily Ratajkowski, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber.
