Suspected of stealing Lady Gaga’s dogs released after mistake; understand!

The singer’s employee who was walking with the pets was shot

According to information from BuzzFeed News, the young man suspected of being involved in the theft of the singer’s dogs Lady Gaga was released by mistake last Wednesday, 6.

18-year-old James Jackson was one of three prisoners who authorities say stole two bulldogs, Koji and Gustavin February 2021, while the employee Ryan Fischer, who ended up shot in the chest, was walking with the dogs. Fortunately Fischer is recovered.

The three suspects were arrested for attempted murder, second-degree robbery and conspiracy to burglary. They claimed that they were unaware that the dogs belonged to the artist and that they started the crime because this breed has a high resale value.

According to the sheriff, Jackson was released “due to a clerical error” and that they are investigating this “inadvertent release”. On Tuesday, the 5th, Jackson appeared in court and was erroneously released the next day.

Finally, Ryan Fisher expressed concern when he learned that the young man was released: “Lord, grant me serenity”wrote in a post on his Instagram.

In February 2021, Gaga’s two bulldogs were kidnapped. At the time, they were missing for two days. But according to the documents, the dogs were delivered by a woman to the police department in Los Angeles.

According to the girl, the pets were found tied to a pole in a very suspicious alley, miles away from where they were stolen.

Gaga even offered 500 thousand dollars (almost 2.8 million reais) as a reward for anyone who found the animals.

According to the website, a representative for the singer confirmed the identity of the bulldogs, with a detective, as the singer was not in the United States – she was in Rome, shooting the movie “House of Gucci”.

Regarding the investigation, the police revealed that, as the criminals did not take the dog walker’s wallet, it is possible that the crime was already predetermined, but not necessarily against Lady Gaga, since it is not certain that they knew the identity of the owner. “They likely recognized the value animals would have” said a police officer.
