The 21-year-old actress shared a black and white photo that showed a scar on her breast covered in bandages. “Two years ago I found a lump in my breast and went through what was arguably the scariest week of my life. I was lucky enough to have the care of my pediatrician, who prescribed me an ultrasound, which resulted in to an outpatient biopsy procedure, “he confessed.
“Fortunately, it was benign. Now the scar serves as a reminder to regularly check my breasts for any irregular growths.”
According to Rachel, left breast fibroadenoma is common to find and has encouraged fans and followers to take care of preventing breast cancer. “Early diagnosis saves lives! Check the breast meat,” she concluded.
