“Santo” barely debuted and Bruno Gagliasso is already in the cast of another attraction of the Netflix. This Wednesday (28/9), she shared two behind-the-scenes images of “Candelária”, which will have four episodes and portray the Candelária massacre in Rio de Janeiro.
The images include the script of the second episode and a recording of joined hands, with beaded necklaces worn by Candomblé devotees.
“I hold your hand so that together we can do what I cannot do alone. Proud to be part of this project”, wrote Gagliasso alongside the images, adding the name of the production.
The crime known as Chacina da Candelária took place on the night of July 23, 1993, just before midnight, when a taxi and a Chevette with a covered license plate pulled up in front of the Church of Candelária in Rio de Janeiro, for its occupants to shoot at dozens. of people, mostly teenagers, who slept in the area. Eight people died, including children, and investigations found that the shooters were militiamen.

Lomenha is one of the hands portrayed in the image released by Gagliasso. The others are by actress and dancer Valeria Monã and actor Patrick Congo.
The cast of the series also includes veteran Antônio Pitanga, singer Péricles, Leandro Firmino, Maria Bopp and Stepan Nercessian.
