Prince William and Kate Middleton visit Wales for the first time in their new status

On Tuesday afternoon, Kate Middleton and Prince William, who after the death of Elizabeth II received the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales, visited the region of the same name – Wales. The couple began with a memorable place for both in the north-west of the county – the town of Anglesey – where they lived in 2010, while still newlyweds, after the birth of Prince George. At the same time, William was acting as a pilot of the search and rescue helicopter of the Royal Air Force.

So, the first thing the Welsh went to was the RNLI Holyhead lifeboat station, which is just a few kilometers from their former home. Where they met with local heroes and volunteers. This idea obviously resonates with their first visit to the same place. then, in 2011, on the eve of her wedding to William, Kate performed royal duties for the first time and helped launch one of the lifeboats into the water.

Afterwards, Kate and William walked along the waterfront to the seaport of Holyhead, and then went to a cafe-bar and chatted with representatives of small businesses and the Coast Guard. Kate looked fresh in a fitted red LK Bennett coat with large gold buttons. She emphasized a bright element of the image with a completely black bottom made of a jumper, strict trousers with creases, elegant Russell & Bromley pumps and a Grace Han briefcase bag.

In the afternoon, the Welshmen visited the coastal town of Swansea in the south, where they were greeted as their official representative by an adorable baby bearing a bouquet of soft pink roses. The purpose of the trip was to visit a thriving community center converted from a church with a food bank and a warehouse of basic necessities for destitute mothers. And, as you know, Kate strongly encourages charity aimed at supporting children and their parents.

Note that the last weeks were not easy for William and Kate. On September 19, they, along with the rest of the royal family, buried the prince’s beloved grandmother. Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain.
