Amazon Studios boss Jennifer Salke revealed in an interview with Variety that she plans to release the second season of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” as soon as possible.
The episodes already available have won the audience and, to maintain the success, the production intends to keep the space between the seasons as small as possible. “The production team is already working on the second season at this point. According to Salke, 100 million Amazon Prime Video subscribers have already seen The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which currently has five seasons scheduled. The new episode will also be available from 7 October.
