Leaked email from Angelina Jolie to Brad Pitt

The history that currently surrounds the situation between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie it is both unexpected and painful. The collective imagination never imagined that this couple, so settled and emanating so much power, could have an end as shady as the one they are still having. This being the case, and after the lawsuit that she filed against her ex for abuse (“Pitt suffocated one of the children and hit another in the face. Some of the children begged him to stop. At one point, he poured beer about Jolie; in another, he poured beer and red wine on the children,” reads part of the text of the complaint).

Brad denied everything through one of his lawyers and The Hollywood Reporter, pointing out that he “keeps repeating, revising and reimagining the description of that event that happened six years ago, because completely false information is added every time that she does not get what that he wants and that it’s all part of a ‘smear campaign’ against Pitt,” he argued.

And now, the middle ET accessed an email after it went viral, one that Angelina sent Brad in January 2021. In it he tried to explain his emotions, and the text is quite strong. The actress, activist and businesswoman starts by saying that she prefers to write this so as not to get emotional, because her intention was inform that it had decided to sell its stake in the Chateau Miraval winery, which Brad also co-owns. “It is the place where we brought the twins home, and where we were married on a plaque in memory of my mother. A place where the promise of what could be lay and where I thought I would grow old. Even now it is impossible to write this without crying. I have treasured my memories of what it was a decade ago. But it is also the place that marks the beginning of the end of our family, and a business that is centered around alcohol,” he wrote.

This is important because, allegedly, Brad Pitt has or has had problems with alcohol. “I was hoping that it could somehow become something that would keep us together, and we would find light and peace. Now I see how you really wanted me out and you are most likely pleased to receive this mail.” She goes on to explain that she has seen inconsiderate behavior and money wasted on decisions she was not a part of, ending: “I cannot be involved, publicly or privately, in an alcohol-based business, when alcoholic behavior has so deeply damaged to our family.” Wow.
