Actor Humberto Martins denied an exclusive interview published by Folha de S. Paulo last Sunday, 23, and accused the newspaper of “fake news” and of “mixing speeches and narratives with a political purpose”.

According to the report, the global, who had already publicly supported Jair Bolsonaro (PL), said he would remain neutral in the second round of the 2022 elections for all. “The statement was published by the newspaper and credited to the actor.

The report also mentions that, in 2019, Martins allegedly posted a message of support for Bolsonaro in a group of messages from the soap opera Verão 90. At the time, the post would have spawned a discussion with fellow Jesuit Barbosa.

On social media, the actor denied the publication. “On colleagues, yes, only respect and friendship for many years, the rest is what you, even I am used to. Useless what we say on this topic in the interviews: they will be distorted at will”, he said, who asked publicly a “right of reply for clarification”.

So far Folha de S.Paulo has not commented on the matter.
