Gelena mourns again: her other “son” dies.

Less than three months after the death of Chanel’s “girl”, Gelena Solano is again plunged into mourning, this time for the departure of her “son”.

It was on August 27 when the reporter from El Gordo y La Flaca announced that “Chanelita” died after she “couldn’t do it anymore” with the problem of tracheal collapse.

The reporter from El Gordo y La Flaca had to say goodbye to her puppy Coco, who had various health complications at the age of 16.

It was on her Instagram account where she shared the sad news and also shared a video in which she is seen enjoying various moments with her ‘son’.

“First the death of Chanel, which I could not recover from, which broke my soul, which left me in pieces and now I want you to know that Coco is no longer with us, she is already resting,” she wrote.

The Dominican journalist confessed that she is “completely sad” and that she does not think it is “easy to mourn two angels at the same time”, less in a period of less than three months.

“Coco was a very strong puppy, she went through many illnesses and couldn’t take it anymore. He lasted 16 years and I will never forget that even though he couldn’t see, hear, smell and had liver problems, he continued to give me love and joy until he couldn’t take it anymore,” she explained.

In a video previously released while Coco was still alive, Gelena expressed how “helpless” she felt at not being able to help him while he was feeling bad.

“This is a very strong stage he is going through, he is a fighter. Oh my god! Someone is suffering from these fangs,” he said to the camera.

On November 3 this year, in an Instagram story, he said he believed his “son” was affected by Chanel’s death.

“Dude, I think Chanel’s death finished you faster. You were never the same, you never stopped looking for her in the corners,” he said.

Gelena Solano’s harsh message to those who criticize her

After the criticism she received for expressing her pain over Chanel’s death, Gelena decided to have a few words for those who make fun of her.

“To the friends who magically disappear when you’re in trouble and the ones who make fun of you and say ‘he’s just a dog,’ I want you to know that I hurt, [pero] defeated, never,” he said.

In addition to wishing the “haters” to “find their light,” she also expressed that it would be nice to have a canine companion so they could understand her.

“Maybe that way they will be able to understand the love we have for those animals that are part of our family and by the way they will be able to respect the pain of others,” he said.

Ultimately, Solano opined that Coco and Chanel were like her “four-legged children” and made her “very happy,” so she’ll never forget them.

“They will always be part of my essence, my life and they will be in my heart, because they had more empathy and faith [que] most of the people I know,” his message reads.
