The musician and businessman Patrick Abrahão, target of the Federal Police investigation against a financial pyramid scheme, spoke on Tuesday 15 of his arrest. In a post on his Instagram profile, Abrahão, who is the husband of the singer Perlla, says he is “hurt by so many falsehoods”.
Abrahão was arrested on the morning of October 19, at his home in a luxury condominium in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, in west Rio. On social media, the businessman’s team shared a letter in which he claims he has been treated with respect since the arrival of the police, also thanking the woman for his support of her and reiterating that he is innocent.
“Peace of the Lord, my friends. Amidst difficult days, we want to thank everyone for their love and prayers, especially our family. For our wives, we would like to make it clear that the best decision of our life was to marry you, thank you for all the tireless support. We have received thousands of letters and we want to thank each one from the bottom of our hearts, we have read them all, getting excited and feeling closer to you”, began the businessman.
Patrick denied having precious stones at home or moving billions, claiming he was only an investor in the company under investigation. “Of course I, Patrick, feel very hurt by so many falsehoods. Facts that are not even included in the trial about me and there is not even a single complaint yet. Like I have emeralds at home, moved billions, putting myself as owner of a company that I was an investor”.
“I declare that we are 100% at the disposal of the Justice to clarify everything. We are fine, we have been treated with respect from the moment of the arrest until the moment I am writing this letter to you. We believe that soon everything will be clarified and we will return to our family.Even in the midst of the struggle, we stand still, earning lives for Jesus, praying in cells, and as I’ve always said, ‘what doesn’t kill us, makes us stronger,'” he added.
Abrahão concludes by saying that he has no complaints about the prison that he believes will soon be free. “I learned to live in all situations, without complaining, and blessed be the name of the Lord. There is a purpose for everything, and I live with God’s help. We always count on your prayers, we are here, but the our heart is there, and we will soon overcome this momentary tribulation. A hug, Patrick Abrahão”, he concluded.
In the comments, Perlla sympathized with her husband. “You are my pride. I have no doubts that your character is true. I love you and would marry you a million times again. Come back soon because I miss you so much. You are my whole life,” the singer posted.

Patrick is under investigation in Operation La Casa de Papel, organized by the PF together with the Federal Revenue Agency and the ANM (National Mining Agency). The action works against “a transnational financial pyramid scheme” that developed the cryptocurrency itself and artificially overvalued it.
According to the investigations, Trade Invest, a network founded by Patrick, injured at least 1.3 million people in 80 countries and even imposed a loss of 4.1 billion reais on the injured parties. Six arrest warrants and 41 search warrants were issued. In addition, the 3rd Federal Court of Campo Grande (MS) determined the blockade in the amount of U$ 20 million.
According to the Federal Police, Patrick Abrahão is responsible for a number of crimes, including embezzlement, money laundering, ideological falsehood, exchange evasion, usurpation of public assets, crimes against the national financial system, environmental crimes and embezzlement.
In addition, the seizure “of money in bank accounts, very high-end properties, livestock, vehicles, gold, jewels, luxury goods, emerald mines, speedboats and crypto assets in the possession of the individuals and legal entities investigated” was granted.
