“It was difficult”: Cristiano Ronaldo told how he told the children about the death of a newborn brother

The other day, 37-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo became a guest on Piers Morgan’s talk show and opened up about his family on the air. The football player told how he and his wife Georgina Rodriguez survived the loss of their newborn son, and most importantly, how they explained the situation to the rest of the children. After some hesitation, the star parents decided not to hide the tragedy from their children.

The kids started asking, “Mom, where is the other kid?” A week later, I said, “Let’s be frank and honest with the kids, let’s say Angel went to heaven,” Ronaldo recalled.

Recall that Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez had a hard time losing the twin daughter of Bella Esmeralda in mid-April this year. The boy died almost immediately after birth. The sad news was shared by young parents on social media, and then they decided to take a break to come to terms with the loss and experience grief away from camera flashes. In August of this year, Cristiano and Georgina showed a rare picture of Bella Esmeralda.

Ronaldo and Georgina have five children together 11-year-old Cristiano Jr., six-month-old Bella Esmeralda, 5-year-old twins Eva and Matteo, and 4-year-old daughter Alan Martin.

Note that in the same interview, Ronaldo called the Manchester United club “traitors.” The football player accused the leadership of a lack of sympathy amid the death of his son.
