Law enforcement officers said that the singer was driving at an unacceptable speed, which could lead to irreversible consequences for both passers-by and for herself. Now the star will have to answer according to the law – the trial in the case will take place on May 3.

By the way, this is not the first time Spears has violated the rules of the road – in 2019 she was already stopped for extreme driving. Then the artist escaped with a fine as punishment. But after that and until recently, she was unable to drive on her own due to the restrictions of her guardian, father Jamie Spears. He, recall, controlled not only the financial and professional, but also the personal affairs of the singer.

Recall that on April 12, Britney Spears announced that she was expecting a baby from her boyfriend Sam Asgari, and the very next day showed a growing belly on social networks. For her, this will be the third child – now she has two sons growing up – 15-year-old Sean Preston and 14-year-old Jayden James. True, they live with their father Kevin Federline, and they can only see their mother occasionally.

A few years ago, when Britney’s father gained custody of her, she, in turn, effectively lost custody of the children. Their father sued Britney for 90 percent of the rights to them. Britney could see her children only in the presence of a third party, whose candidacy must be approved by Kevin. But in September 2019, the singer already received 30% of custody over them. Kevin himself does not favor his former father-in-law – he attacked his eldest grandson a couple of years ago and allegedly beat him.
