Nikita Efremov for the first time in a long time commented on his relationship with his father

34-year-old actor Nikita Efremov rarely talks about personal things – the last big interview where he speaks frankly about his famous father Mikhail Efremov came out last year. However, Nikita, who is regularly involved in various film and theater projects, periodically appears at social events, where journalists manage to get him to talk. So, at yesterday’s premiere of the new film “Sisters” Nikita answered some questions of MK, in particular, about his father and their relationship in the circumstances. When asked if he was visiting his parent, Nikita replied:

I write letters to him. I asked if he wanted me to come. But I understand that it can be difficult for him at some point. In general, I would not want to take it all out to the press. I understand that silence is the most important thing in this story. Let me keep it.

Note that in May of this year, Nikita also gave a rare comment on this matter. Then, in an interview with Kinopoisk, he admitted that it was not easy for him to survive the tragedy involving Mikhail Efremov.

Recall that the accident involving Mikhail Efremov occurred on June 8, 2020 at 21:44 near house number 3 on Smolenskaya Square. His car crossed the solid road at full speed and drove into the oncoming lane, colliding with the Lada van. The driver of the van, 57-year-old Sergey Zakharov, died from his injuries and profuse blood loss the next morning at the Sklifosovsky Research Institute.

For almost the entire summer, the actor was under house arrest, was repeatedly summoned for interrogation, recorded a video message in which he talked about what happened, but later refused to admit his guilt in court. Efremov several times changed his position on the latter issue, and only on September 3 did he finally confess his participation. On September 8, the verdict was read out in court: Mikhail Efremov was found guilty of participating in an accident.

In addition to 8 years in a penal colony, the actor was also sentenced to 800 thousand rubles in fine in favor of the eldest son of Sergei Zakharov (earlier, the family of the deceased man stated that he did not want any money from Mikhail Efremov). In addition, the actor was deprived of his rights for 3 years. The prosecution asked for 11 years in a penal colony for the actor. In the courtroom and near it today there were many who wanted to support Efremov. Among them are Ivan Okhlobystin and Garik Sukachev.
