On the eve of the cinema “Karo 11 October” the premiere of the psychological horror “Sisters” with Irina Starshenbaum and Nikita Efremov in the lead roles took place.
The film was presented to the audience by director Ivan Petukhov, producers Lala Rustamova, Vladimir Komarov and Ara Khachatryan, as well as the film’s film crew, including Efremov, Starshenbaum and Chipovskaya. The screening was followed by a discussion of the film and the problem of domestic violence raised in it. The conversation was moderated by journalist Sasha Sulim.
The first to see the film at the premiere were Anna Banshchikova, Irina Bezrukova, Nastasya Samburskaya, Svetlana Ustinova, Rinal Mukhametov, Mikhail Troinik, Georgy Dronov, Evgeny Borodenko, Lisa Shakira, Karen Arutyunov and Daria Blokhina and others.
Anya is a young mother who has tried in vain many times to save herself and her child from her husband’s growing aggression. Caught in a desperate situation, she learns that there are dark mystical forces that can come to the aid of people like her. With a special rite of blood and fire, Anya summons the otherworldly sisterhood, but now she must decide whether she is ready to follow this path to the end.
Anya Chipovskaya, Nadezhda Markina, Nikita Volkov and Polina Gukhman also starred in Ivan Petukhov’s psychological horror, in which drama collides with mysticism.
