The actress and host Antonia Fontenelle was convicted again in a lawsuit filed by Youtuber Felipe Neto. This time, for suggesting that she uses cocaine.
The sentence was pronounced on Tuesday (11/19) by the 7th Criminal Chamber of Rio de Janeiro. He will have to serve a sentence of almost a year and a half of community service, as well as pay a fine of R $ 20,000 for the crime of injury.
According to the decision of Judge Rudi Baldi Loewenkron, of the 34th Criminal Court of TJ-Rio, Antonia committed the crimes by calling the Youtuber a “sociopath” and stating that he “does not use drugs in the workplace”.
It is curious to note that these were not the first convictions of the actress for defaming Felipe Neto.
The crimes began after a video from July 2020, where the attacked presenter said (without proof) that she would have been “forced by the Youtuber into a meeting, that she would have tried to hit him and that she would have already ruined many people’s lives”.
In October 2021 Antonia had to pay 63,000 reais for the attack and for calling him a “scoundrel” and “cancer of the Internet”.
In December of the same year, she was convicted again in 1st instance in the 39th Criminal Court of Rio for alleging that Felipe Neto and Luccas Neto encouraged pedophilia. The fine was converted into community service provision and another R$8,000 went away.
In January of this year, the Bolsonarista influencer added another year and nine months to the open regime and a fine of 40,000 reais for three crimes of defamation, one of slander and another of slander against the Youtuber.
She tries to appeal the decisions, but if she faces new injury claims, she should receive harsher sentences, as she is no longer the prime defendant.
