Hollywood Family Business: Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson have produced a new comedy-drama called Otto starring Tom himself and their 26-year-old son Truman. Recently, the Academy Film Museum in Los Angeles hosted a special screening of the upcoming film. On the red carpet, Tom and Truman appeared together and posed for the cameras in company with the rest of the actors of the tape. — Mariana Treviño, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Kelly Lamore Wilson, as well as director Mark Forster and screenwriter David Magee.

“A Man Called Otto” tells the story of grumpy Otto Anderson (Hanks) who no longer sees a purpose in life after the loss of his beloved wife. The hero loses hope, but everything changes when a cheerful young family moves in next door, and he meets the quick-witted and creative Marisol. Friendship with her turns his world upside down. The film will hit the screens on December 30th.
Remember that Truman — one of four Hanks children. 40-year-old Elizabeth and 45-year-old Colin (also an actor, and quite successful) were born in Tom’s marriage to his first wife Samantha Lewis. Truman and his older, 32-year-old brother Chester Hanks were presented to the current wife, Rita Wilson. By the way, the actor has been living with her for more than 34 years. — they got married back in 1988.
