Casimiro gets married a month after postponing the ceremony due to covid-19

Streamer Casimiro Miguel got married this Monday (19/12) to Anna Beatriz Lima at the Nossa Senhora do Carmo da Antiga Sé church in downtown Rio de Janeiro, a month after postponing the ceremony after testing positive for covid-19 .

“I got married,” Casimiro summed up on Twitter.

The couple had been together for nine years, they chose a traditional ceremony, but with Vasco’s anthem instead of the wedding march. The event generated many clicks shared on social media by the guests, including a close-up of the wedding ring, which has a Vasco da Gama cross as a detail.

Casimiro met Anna Beatriz because of the soccer team.

“He followed me on a Vasco humor page, he DMed me, we talked there on the profile and I liked it,” he revealed. “We reviewed for a long time, there was no Tinder. We chatted on Facebook. I never forget. I brought it up with her grotesquely. Her grandmother was hospitalized and I kept asking her, ‘how is she? ‘ It was the only way to bring it up.”

The wedding was supposed to take place before the World Cup, but Casimiro tested positive for covid-19 on Nov. 17, two days before the date he was due to walk down the aisle. As the World Cup followed, the wedding could only be scheduled for this Monday, exactly one month after the initial planning.

It is worth mentioning that Casimiro broke the record for the largest national live audience on YouTube during his official broadcast of Brazil’s cup matches, on his CazéTV channel.
