Mom says she was just pushed by the ex Globo comedian

Silvania Fernandes, mother of former Globo comedian Filipe Pontes, said she was pushed during the quarrel between her children last Saturday (31/12). Pontes, who participated in “Zorra Total” and “Pânico na Band”, was arrested in the act by the police due to the argument. The case took place in Ribeirão Preto, in the interior of the state of São Paulo.

In a video sent to Jovem Pan, Silvania said Filipe was drunk and had a fight with his 21-year-old brother.

“Filipe came home upset, drunk, talking loud, and I asked him to talk low. Upset, he started talking even louder. My other son woke up, tried to interfere, get in the way , and it turned into an argument between the two brothers. I, fearing a fight, got in the way to separate and was pushed,” she said.

Despite the push, Silvania denies having been attacked by her son. “At no point did Filipe hit me. That’s not what happened. We had a family fight. Here’s what happened,” she added.

The comedian also denied the assault. “It’s over there [mãe] denied. Because it doesn’t exist. I would never do such a thing. Anyone who knows me knows that. I had a fight with my brother, but now everything is fine,” he told the press.

Filipe also posted a video of his mother claiming she was not physically assaulted, and repeated, “I remained calm and at peace after something so serious was revealed about me. I was wrong, I confess, I discussed business with my brother João… and already in the new year we reconciled and I love him more”.

He also specified that he will take “the appropriate measures, because this is not done, news at any cost, without investigating, these are not the right people”.

According to Silvana, Filipe is at a friend’s house. “He’s working. What happened in the media made me sadder than what happened here at home,” she said.

The comedian was released on Saturday after undergoing a custody hearing. The incident report mentions that the mother and brother were victims of “domestic violence, threats, insults and deeds”.

Pontes was part of the cast of “Zorra Total” in 2013 with the character Plim Plínio. After working on “Domingão do Faustão” and “Altas Horas”, he left Globo to join the “Legendários” team, on Record, where he imitated Sabrina Sato. In 2017 he went to do “Pânico na Band”.

In addition to his TV work, he has also performed stand-up.
