Singer Gretchen posted videos of being abused by a military policeman in front of the house where she lives in Belém on Tuesday night (3/1). The singer went on social media to report a threat suffered and to show the provisions of Justice.

The singer previously complained about a rubber shop operating near her property, which usually leaves cars parked in front of its gate. Yesterday, when you opened the garage, you saw a police car blocking the entrance. She allegedly suffered intimidation by complaining about the infraction.

“Now even the police don’t respect the law. And there’s more. I want the head of the Military Police to talk to me, because I just received a threat at my door, from the policeman who pointed his gun at me. I’ll show you the video here, because I have everything recorded by my cameras,” said the singer, in a video on her Instagram profile.

He then showed the images taken by the security camera with the alleged abuse of authority. “Here’s the video. Besides stopping at my door, one of them pulled out a gun to intimidate me. I’m scared of cockroaches and that’s it,” she wrote.

Gretchen even tagged the governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho (MDB), in the post to call for action.

“Things have changed. We no longer live with impunity. This policeman wanted to intimidate me at the door of my house and pointed a gun at me,” he added.

“Here in Pará there is a law. And now I just want my right as a citizen to be maintained. I will never accept being intimidated by someone who has to protect me and not intimidate me. I’m not afraid,” she continued.

“And finally, the rubber workers thought that just because it was the police, I wouldn’t complain. They thought, ‘I want to see you get the police out your door.’ law, and one of them is not stopping [frente] from nobody’s garage. So if you thought I wasn’t going to complain to the police, you were wrong with me once again,” the artist added.
