‘Elvis’: Austin Butler and Baz Luhrmann pay tribute to Lisa Marie Presley

He also shared a heartfelt tribute to Baz Luhrmann, the film’s director. She did so in a post on her Instagram profile, along with a photo of Lisa Marie Presley with Austin Butler:

Over the past year, the entire Elvis film family and I have felt the privilege of Lisa Marie’s gracious embrace. The sudden and shocking loss of her has devastated people all over the world. I know that her fans everywhere join me in sharing prayers of love and support with her mother, Priscilla, and her wonderful daughters Riley, Finley and Harper. Lisa Marie, we will miss your warmth, your smile, your love.

Mother of four children, the singer passed away on January 12 at the age of 54. Due to her known problems with substance abuse, it has been suspected that something else may have been behind her cardiac arrest. Suspicions that, ironically, also weighed on the death of her father and her ex-husband, Michael Jackson. Be that as it may, it is a moment to remember, and honor.
