Over the past year, Beverly Hills, 90210 star Tori Spelling has struggled with health issues. At first, her son Bo was ill for a long time, and shortly before the Christmas holidays, she herself ended up in a hospital bed. The other day, her eldest daughter, 14-year-old Stella, was hospitalized with a suspected stroke. She was diagnosed with hemiplegic migraine. On an episode of Jeff Lewis’s SiriusXM podcast, Spelling admitted that Stella is “not feeling well” at the moment.
When Stella has a seizure, one side of her body goes numb. It almost mimics what happens with a stroke. Her left hand was completely numb, she could not lift it, and then half of her throat, and then her mouth. So it looked like she had a stroke.

According to the American Migraine Foundation, hemiplegic migraine is a rare type of migraine that affects a person’s motor weakness and can impair speech and well-being. Spelling explained that each time before they got to the emergency room, Stella “began to feel like she was feeling better.” She inherited the disease from her father’s relatives.
In total, 49-year-old Tori Spelling has five children – together with her husband, 55-year-old Dean McDermott, she brings up two daughters (14-year-old Stella and 11-year-old Hattie) and three sons (15-year-old Liam, 10-year-old Finn and 5 -year-old Bo).
