Socialite and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian gave a two-hour lecture at Harvard Business School (HBS). During the speech, the well-known businesswoman spoke about her success story and discussed the commercial side of the Skims shapewear brand. The lecture was also attended by co-founder of the brand Jens Grede, who also addressed the students.
The People publication, citing a statement from one of the students, clarifies that Kardashian discussed all her business projects with the students. Among them are not only Skims, but also a private equity fund to support start-up entrepreneurs SKKY Partners. Kim shared footage on social media of herself posing in front of Harvard in a black striped Magda Butrym suit.
My partner and I talked about marketing, our challenges and our biggest wins. I’m so proud of Skims, and the thought that this course is studied at Harvard is just crazy, – wrote the star.
BuzzFeed notes that it is not entirely correct to say that this course is being studied at Harvard Business School. It is taught in one of the short intensive programs lasting four days. Of course, some netizens criticized the appearance of a star at the university. One of them wrote:
