With this photo the former FC Barcelona player would formalize their courtship with the 23-year-old, something he hadn’t done since he started getting caught up with her.
In the ‘selfie’, the Catalan leans on his girlfriend’s shoulder, while she appears to be taking the photo.
In just two hours, Pique’s post received more than 160,000 comments. In them, some users applaud Pique for showing up with his new love, while others poke fun at him and defend Shakira, even writing excerpts from ‘BZRP Music Sessions #53’.

Clara Chía Martí appeared in public again on January 24, following the controversy surrounding her since Shakira attacked her in her new song and rumors started that Piqué had cheated on her.
After the premiere of ‘BZRP Music Sessions #53’, in which the Colombian singer includes the line “He has the name of a good man, it’s clearly not what it sounds like”, the 23-year-old girl “disappeared”.
The newspaper El Español even reported that Chía left the apartment where she lives with the athlete to take refuge in her parents’ house, where the press could not locate her.
“She understands that this is the toll she has to pay for ‘falling in love with Gerard’. She is well supported by her family and loyal friends, who have become her greatest comfort and tears,” she explained.
Added to this controversy, as of last week, was speculation that Pique was unfaithful to Clara with a lawyer called Julia Puig, also originally from Barcelona.

On January 25, Spanish magazine Lecturas revealed that it is alleged that Pique and Clara’s relationship “hasn’t suffered in the slightest” due to rumors of infidelity on his part.
In addition, they confirmed that, according to the “environment” of Julia Puig, she had a relationship with the athlete, but that it happened when Chía had not yet entered her life.
