Lauren Sanchez, the lover of billionaire and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, spoke for the first time in detail about their relationship. The woman gave an interview to the Wall Street Journal and spoke with journalist Derek Blasberg. Sanchez discussed joint dinners with children and ex-husband, business and her lover’s upcoming flight into space.
Living with Jeff Bezos is like taking master classes every day,” Lauren shared.
Sanchez, 53, says she’s learning a lot from Bezos. The businessman helps her with her work and every day conducts a “master class” on doing business. Bezos gives her advice on everything from running a company to scheduling meetings. Now the state of Bezos himself is estimated at 120.7 billion dollars.

What he really taught me was management. I do a lot of meetings, and I used to always be the first to speak at them. One day he told me: “No, no and again no. You are the boss. You are the last to speak. First, let everyone speak out so that your opinion does not affect their words,” she recalled one of his tips.
Lauren noted that Jeff also advised her not to hold meetings longer than an hour and to ask an assistant to take notes during the meeting. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have been dating since 2019. At the time of the beginning of the novel, both were officially married, but soon they filed for divorce almost simultaneously and stopped hiding their relationship.
We like being together. We travel together. We work together. We are together all the time,” Sanchez summed up.
Recall that in 2021, from the Launch Site One site at the ranch of 57-year-old Jeff Bezos in Texas at 16:11 Moscow time, the Blue Origin New Shepard spacecraft with four passengers on board went on a suborbital space flight. Along with the founder of Amazon, other tourists climbed to a height of 100 kilometers for the first time: his younger brother Mark, 82-year-old pilot Wally Funk (she was selected for the program of women astronauts in 1961, but never got into space), as well as 18-year-old student Oliver Daeman, who won his seat through an auction.
