The star of “Euphoria” Sidney Sweeney was sued: what’s the matter

After the release of the second season of Euphoria, 24-year-old sultry blonde Sydney Sweeney is on everyone’s lips. The actress with enviable regularity is offered new projects, advertising contracts and shooting in glossy publications, for example, she was supposed to become the face of a new collection of the American swimwear brand LA Collective.

However, the day before it became known that the brand filed a lawsuit against the rising star. The reason was the sudden termination of the contract by Sweeney, which happened immediately after the actress received several things as a gift from her partners. According to representatives of the brand, in some of them the actress even managed to appear in at least five episodes of Euphoria, but she did not support the brand in any way and did not explain her behavior. Interestingly, Sweeney was initially actively involved in the work and personally took part in the selection of designs for the line.

Now Sweeney has to pay the brand a $3 million penalty. That’s how much LA Collective expected to earn from an advertising campaign featuring a star.

Recall that in “Euphoria” Sidney plays high school student Cassie Howard. The second season of the sensational teen drama was released in early January, but the showrunners are already preparing the next one for the release. In March, it became known that the actress was getting married to 37-year-old boyfriend Jonathan Davino. Little is known about the personal life of the young star. There is information that Jonathan Davino is a restaurateur, and their romance lasts three years. At the same time, they were published only at the very beginning of the relationship.
