The phenomenon dates back to the time of models like Twiggy or the beginnings of the Britney Spears phenomenon. According to him, brands such as Max Mara, Dior or KNWLS, which were inspired by their distinctive style, began to approach these fashion icons, and among their collections we can find several micro-skirts from that time, most often in leather design.

The undoubted advantage of mini and micro skirts is their ability to lengthen legs that have slim tendencies. In the case of more muscular legs, this effect paradoxically works the other way around. Well-known fashion brands therefore adapt their production to the customer’s desire for nostalgia even in the practical application of contemporary trends.
