Like Queen Letizia: long dresses that look expensive

Maybe it’s echoes of professional deformity, or maybe it really is a mass stereotype, but the phrase “dress-dress” immediately conjures up associations with Nina Khrushcheva’s outfit. We are talking about the trip of the first lady of the USSR to Vienna, where she met the sophisticated Jacqueline Kennedy and, due to the sharp contrast with the American, received the insulting nickname “babushka” given to her by journalists Westerners. We will not argue, Nina Petrovna’s dressing gown did not seem the most elegant outfit, but Jackie was the first to understand that with this choice the wife of the General Secretary emphasized her status, age and her condescending attitude towards momentary fashion.

Meanwhile, the dressing gown itself is a pretty regal choice! And we say this without irony. It is one of the favorite models of Kate Middleton and Queen Letizia, Meghan Markle has tried on the same images. What is good with midi and maxi wrap dresses is a feminine flying skirt and the ability to emphasize the waist with a belt in the proportion you need. Strict styles do not give such freedom of action: cases should be selected exactly according to the figure, pencil skirts cannot be bought without trying. But casual bathrobes are another matter!

We were inspired by Letizia’s recent appearance at an official reception in Madrid. Laconic Carolina Herrera pumps and a black and white print with vertical stripes are the right solution from all sides. The pattern elongates the silhouette, the dark fuchsia stilettos add a sparkly accent, and the dress accentuates a petite waist. A simple “recipe” for a stunning look: accent pumps and a dressing gown – we’ll take care of her choice. To diversify purchases, they added models with flying skirts, like those of the Spanish queen, and more strict models – for all occasions.
