You will fall in love! Brigitte Bardot and Claudia Schiffer wear straw bags – we’re looking for the same

Have you noticed that the most spectacular trends are usually very simple? A straw bag is no exception: there is nothing supernatural about them, but the demand is huge and they look luxurious in the photo. First, it’s practical. Second, it’s stylish. Third, perfect for summer. What else is needed? As a bonus, with such a wicker basket you can easily feel like Brigitte Bardot – and who would be in such a mood? The French actress once taught us not only how to casually tie a shirt on her stomach and do a “babette” style bun, but also how to wear straw bags. A short dress, sandals, a hat, a languorous air – and some Gunther Sachs are already ready to drop tons of roses from a helicopter on your villa.

The real coincidence (no) was finding a modern copy of the Bardo, Claudia Schiffer, the same handbags. The German model not only shares looks but also style with her French colleague, however, she prefers bolder modern designs. She wears a miniature turtle-shaped straw bag with a light white long dress and looks exactly like Brigitte at the dawn of her career.

Schiffer combines a voluminous bag with wooden handles with a denim skirt, a striped sweater and suede ankle boots. Claudia, in principle, does not part with a straw accessory and takes it with her even in winter – she puts it under a “cheburashka” and jeans. Sounds cool, but we wouldn’t recommend repeating it – there’s a risk of ending up without a bag, and without contents too (straw probably won’t stand the test of our weather).

Modern trendsetters literally wear straw bags for everything – palazzo pants with a top and a jacket, shorts with a classic waistcoat of a men’s suit. Another version of the image is an airy dress and rough boots, like influencer Laura Eguizabal.

A huge number of outfits with a wicker bag can also be found on Olivia Palermo’s social networks. The American socialite seems to collect a whole collection and obviously does not intend to stop. She seems to have straw bags of all sizes, shapes, and colors in her arsenal. Small, large, cone-shaped and trapezoidal, with blue handles or black flower borders (like in the film Scott Pilgrim vs The World where Ramona offers tea and lists all the possible drinks).

We conclude: a bag of straw is definitely necessary! So we urgently choose a stylish girlfriend – for this we have made a selection with the cutest models.
