Buy them and throw the iron away! Summer fabrics, the clothes of which do not wrinkle at all

Recently, the SuperJob platform conducted a large survey of Russians on household chores. It turned out that the most hated activity was ironing – it’s funny that she came ahead of cleaning. 24% of respondents admitted that the first thing they would give up would be iron, given the chance. And it’s not just about pyrophobia (fear of leaving an unswitched device at home, which could start a fire), but about a banal reluctance to get up in the morning and smooth turtlenecks and skirts rascals.

And, surprisingly, there is a solution. Leaving aside obvious advice like buying a steamer that makes life easier or creating a cleaning schedule that keeps you from waking up hungry and crumpled in the morning, next on the list are clothes that basically do not need to be ironed.

Polyester not only cannot be ironed, but it should not be ironed! It is best to sprinkle water from a spray bottle and wait for small wrinkles to disappear. Focus on the composition with at least 65% of this material – then the care of clothes will not be a problem.

You already know yourself that you can apply cheating moves to jeans – that is, do not iron. But “thoroughbred” denim still sometimes requires ironing, but not models with lycra in the composition.

It is also called acetate – it is worth remembering this term, because it can greatly simplify life. Artificial silk is as smooth and vibrant as natural silk, requires minimal iron “intervention”. Having steamed it once, you can forget about ironing for a long time.

It is an improved type of viscose that cools the body and is therefore particularly popular in the production of summer clothing and underwear. Thanks to its delicate texture, modal does not wrinkle, so drying flat or a little steam is enough to keep it clean for a long time.
