The designers in the autumn 2022 ready-to-wear collection also follow the fitted white tank top with the triangular logo of the brand, which is close to them from previous designs, just as they liked the narrow skirt just below the knees. Model Kaia Gerber opened the show in this model. The skirt composed of gray flannel, black satin and decorated mesh looked unique.

In addition to the basic pieces on which Prada and Simons built the autumn collection of 2022, this design duo also showed simple monochrome wool sweaters along with sweaters full of graphic patterns. Also pleated skirts, men’s jackets and dresses decorated with applications made of faux fur and feathers. The designers focused on unlikely combinations in terms of materials and designs. The dress connected with oblique pearl necklaces and a few other small items from the collection could be described as exaggerated, but the shapes of the models expressed strength.
Miuccia has been told that the great re-awakening of Prada after the pandemic was foreshadowed by the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the beginning of the war, but her point remains the same: “Dress the way you feel.”

The cast of the show was also spectacular, as it featured models who had walked the Prada fashion catwalk for the past twenty years. Among them are Erin O’Connor, Liya Kebede, Elise Crombez and Hannelore Knuts. Hunter Schafer, for example, was on display at the show.
“We remember the revolutionary moments in the history of the Prada brand and repeat them in the new collections,” said Raf Simons in his statement.
