On Monday evening, a new Burberry collection was shown in London. The presentation was supposed to take place two weeks ago as part of Fashion Week, but Ricardo Tisci decided to postpone the show due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II, thereby honoring her memory. And the date of the show coincided with the date of the end of national mourning for Her Majesty.
From Milan, where its own Fashion Week has been held for the past few days, a friend and muse of the designer, Irina Shayk, flew to the show. The fashion show was also attended by Bella Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Karen Elson, Mariacarle Boscono, Stella Maxwell and others. They demonstrated both the brand’s classic motifs – plaid, beige tones and trench coats – as well as evening looks. At the same time, Camila Morrone, whom we recently saw in the front row of the Versace show in Milan, somehow kept aloof. The 25-year-old model, who broke up with Leonardo DiCaprio, was irresistible in a black leather dress with an open back, but at the same time slightly sad.
