Collection ELEMENTS
The new “Elements” collection will be officially presented on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, against the backdrop of a unique installation created by Elis Monsport. You can view it on November 3, 4 and 5 by appointment. Port of Stars fashion is inextricably linked to designs that are based on craftsmanship and showcase the inspiration of the creators themselves. The main vision of the collection is to highlight shapes and give space to significant volume in an attractive form. Through folds and seams, the models emphasize the body’s curves, but at the same time give space to the imagination, which is firmly rooted in the heart of the brand. The “Elements” collection is the ninth in the series. It is the work of a collective that transforms its inspiration in the name of respect for materials and love for craftsmanship. Through minimalist but interesting shapes, the collection works with the concept of color blocks.

What awaits us in the collection
You can look forward to two new models of Sam Jacket and Port Parka. The new Sam Jacket combines volume with simplicity, combining a padded lining with a shaping outer material. The Port Parka model plays on the note of urban style, has a straight cut, distinctive pockets and straps and is completely made of Italian organic fabric. Another novelty is the Circle Skirt. As the name suggests, it is shaped like a perfect circle. The sophisticated construction of the lower part lends the model volume without the need for solid material. Fashion lovers will surely be attracted by the Petal Top model, which celebrates the romance that is close to the Port of Stars brand. It has a slimmer fit and is made from a beautifully textured linen and patchwork wool blend. The new pieces combine perfectly and become a sophisticated basis for a modern wardrobe.

For the presentation of the new collection, which will take place in November 202, the Port of Stars brand is collaborating with Elis Monsport. As muse and visual guru, Elis will present her unique interpretation of the collection. It will focus primarily on craftsmanship and the relationship between the worlds of fashion and design. The author of the campaign is Hana Knížová, who in this case deviated slightly from the traditional style of the brand. Captures Elis in the Port of Stars model in her art studio while creating the pieces that complement the new “Elements” collection. Elis Monsport is a multidisciplinary glass designer and engraver. She studied in the glass studio at UMPRUM under the guidance of Rony Plesl. Her greatest inspiration is nature, landscape, rocks and their textures, which she transfers to her work using the most diverse craft techniques. Eliščina’s work is full of stories, it speaks to us through art and masterful craftsmanship. The objects they create are truly unique.
Luxury local production
The Czech brand Port of Stars was founded in 2019 by Yasmin Keshmiri Hejduk in collaboration with Jana Kapounová and chief designer Radka Kubková. It brings timeless and versatile fashion that emphasizes sustainability, sophisticated design and local production. Her philosophy is based on close cooperation with clients, perfectly mastered craftsmanship and the concept of slow fashion. He approaches each and every model individually, the emphasis is on the finest details with the aim of creating interesting pieces, elevated above fashion trends. Most of the collections consist of unique pieces in limited series or even a single copy. They often sell out during the first presentation of the collection. The brand thus became a new icon in the field of art, film, design and in the world of young creatives.

Sustainability is a key aspect of the studio’s work, which excels in design, quality and moral integrity. The models are made from organic cotton, natural linen and silk, and often also from surplus materials from mass producers. Thanks to the sophisticated design and experience of Radka Kubková, within the framework of the “zero-waste” philosophy, all surpluses and scraps are preserved and subsequently used in the creation of other models. This creates the idea of continuity with previous collections, and thanks to the small “memorial” details, each piece is an interesting original.
