What shoes not to spend money on: 4 signs of a bad buy you’ll regret

What is the most enjoyable winter activity? That’s right, plan your shopping for spring! Brands seem to deliberately tempt us with great new things – oh, if only spring were to come! Yes, and additional drops of winter shoes also cause unplanned purchases. But you and I will behave wisely: let’s figure out what you absolutely don’t need to buy so as not to be disappointed!

We know, we know, beautiful shoes, ankle boots, ankle boots and other shoe models have one trait: they immediately fall in love with themselves and make them go home as soon as they look at the price and weigh the for and the cons. The euphoria of a cool purchase, alas, does not last long: already at the first exit from the house it becomes clear that you were in a hurry to choose. And that is, to say the least, a disgrace!

So that no cute sandals and thigh high boots bother you after the purchase, let’s talk about all the “red flags” of the shoe in advance.

Sliding sole

Typically, this is a painful feature of stiletto heels. Many shoes aren’t designed for active walking: you’ll hold on to them beautifully, and that’s it. So if you start to slip while walking around the store, don’t blame everything on the smooth tiles: the grip should still be tight.

You need to change your walk

We understand that on some stilettos you at least feel like the queen of the world. But don’t forget that it’s the shoes that serve you, not you! Therefore, if to buy now you need to shift weight to your toes, slow your step, or maintain your balance by force, that’s not our option.

The shoes squeeze the toes

Be honest with yourself: even if you really, really like the shoes, but feel the cape is pinching your toes, then that’s a mighty “red flag”! During the fitting you will not yet feel the catastrophic situation, but after a few hours on your feet you will understand – it’s just torture! Fingers will go numb, goosebumps will start to run down the leg … Pleasant and useful, in general, is not enough.

Pressure or numbness

Remove your shoes immediately if you experience numbness in your toes, heel, or any part of your foot. You can, of course, try to loosen the laces, replace the insole with an orthopedic insole, but sometimes these tricks are powerless. If the last one doesn’t suit you and you try your ankles, your fingers, your games, your foot – whatever – then the novelty should be put aside.
