Georgina Rodriguez removed her $3million engagement ring from husband Cristiano Ronaldo to show off huge Chopard diamond jewellery as she walked the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival on Friday.

The influencer, 32, announced her engagement to the football star, 41, on August 11, 2025, when she first showed off her 30-carat diamond ring from the billionaire athlete.

But stepping out for the screening of Mr. Nelson, Did You Kill People? at the Sala Grande in Venice, Georgina chose to forgo her dazzling rock and instead adorn herself with jewels from the luxury Swiss brand.

She cut a classy figure in a plunging navy suit jacket and matching split-back skirt, boosting her height with towering black stilettos.

Chopard jewellery on display
The real star of the look was her jewellery, with Georgina donning encrusted crescent-shaped rings and matching earrings, alongside a statement choker.

The Argentinian model made sure to highlight her jewels, carefully placing her hands in front of her while posing for photographers.

Despite ditching her engagement ring, Georgina kept on the simple gold wedding band she exchanged during her nuptials just weeks earlier.

She appeared in great spirits at the event, smiling and waving to the crowds as she made her way down the red carpet, and drew attention to her figure as she turned to pose in her form-fitting outfit.

A history with Chopard
This is not the first time Georgina has stepped out in Chopard jewellery. She is said to have worn pieces from the brand estimated to be worth 56 million pounds for her intimate wedding to Ronaldo last month.

For the pared-back ceremony, Georgina wore an eye-catching Chopard Garden of Kalahari necklace featuring a D-flawless 50-carat brilliant-cut diamond as its centrepiece, along with a matching bracelet, earrings and ring.

Marion Cotillard also at the premiere
Georgina was in good company on the Venice red carpet, with French actress Marion Cotillard, 50, also in attendance to support the film. Cotillard wore a structured strapless black top with smart black trousers.

Mr. Nelson, Did You Kill People? is inspired by the real life of Allen Nelson and explores the horrors of the Vietnam War through the eyes of a Black American soldier.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez's wedding
Georgina's Venice appearance comes weeks after she and Ronaldo married in their living room in Portugal, with the footballer wearing a T-shirt and suit jacket to exchange vows.

The couple married on the tenth anniversary of the day they first met, when Georgina was working as a shop assistant at the Gucci store in Madrid, with all of their children present for the ceremony.

Georgina and Ronaldo welcomed their first child, Alana, in 2017, followed by Bella Esmeralda, whose twin brother died during childbirth in 2022. According to Portuguese media, Georgina is now also the legal guardian of Ronaldo's son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr and his twins, Eva Maria and Mateo.
The identity of the biological mother of 16-year-old Cristiano Jr remains private, and Ronaldo has full custody of him as well as of his nine-year-old twins, who were born via surrogate.
Georgina on their intimate wedding
Amid speculation ahead of the big day, the couple defied expectations with pared-back nuptials that moved from their house to a nearby church, where Georgina reportedly could not hold back her tears.
She told Vogue in the magazine's Summer digital issue: "We've chosen to do it in the living room of our house here where we have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and where we live the reality of our lives... In 30 years' time I want the children to think, something wonderful happened at this table, the wedding vows of our parents."
She added: "When I was a little girl I dreamt of the biggest castle, the biggest carriage, the longest dress, a crown full of diamonds. And now I'm saying: no. I want something intimate, with my partner and our children, at home."
Georgina told the magazine the couple would hold a "big wedding" in future to celebrate with their wider family and friends, though she did not elaborate on their plans.
