Singer Harry Styles poked fun at ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift's wedding to Travis Kelce during his Aug. 29 concert at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Addressing the crowd at the famous Manhattan venue, the 32-year-old pop star joked about the arena's multiple uses nearly two months after Swift and Kelce tied the knot at the same location on July 3.
"We're at Madison Square Garden, home of the world champion New York Knicks!" Styles told the audience in footage shared to social media, adding, "and they also do weddings."
Madison Square Garden, a multi-purpose indoor arena in New York City, served as the venue where Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Kelce exchanged vows in front of 1,000 of their closest family and friends.
Styles was forced to skip the ceremony due to a scheduling conflict with his Together, Together tour. He was busy performing at Wembley Stadium in London just hours before the pair married, though his fiancé Zoë Kravitz attended the New York nuptials solo, demonstrating that no bad blood exists between the former couple.
Kravitz, a longtime friend of Swift who collaborated with her on the track "Lavender Haze," arrived in a mini dress and strappy heels while her fiancé performed abroad. Styles and Swift previously dated from 2012 to 2013.
During his London concert at Wembley Stadium, Styles performed his 2017 hit "Two Ghosts," a ballad chronicling his 2013 breakup with the "Cruel Summer" singer. In a clip shared to social media, Styles sang: "We're not who we used to be / We're not who we used to be.. We're just two ghosts standin' in the place of you and me."
Wedding ceremony and officiant details
The July 3 ceremony was officiated by actor Adam Sandler. Good Morning America co-anchor George Stephanopoulos described the nuptials in a July 4 statement to ABC News as deeply loving, real, vulnerable, serious, and silly.
"The ceremony was great, moving. Adam Sandler, funny and touching," Stephanopoulos said in his statement. "Vows, everything you would hope for, real, vulnerable, serious and silly. Deeply loving. Who knew that a wedding in Madison Square Garden could be so intimate?"
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid shared marriage advice delivered by Sandler during a July 5 event in Salt Lake City, as reported by The Deseret News. Reid recalled Sandler encouraging the couple to keep kissing.
"He told them to keep kissing," Reid said. "So, in its simplest form, that's a good thing. It's hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss or your wife gives you a kiss. Make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to do it. Knock it out, and you won't have problems."
The event also placed family members in key roles. Swift's brother Austin Swift served as the Man of Honor for the "Ophelia" singer, while Kelce's brother Jason Kelce served as Best Man for the Kansas City Chiefs player.

A wide gathering of Hollywood stars attended the New York ceremony. Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and Brad Pitt were among the prominent figures welcomed to the venue for the celebration.
Actors Anya Taylor-Joy and singer Kesha coordinated in black dresses for the occasion. Actress Jessica Alba attended alongside her boyfriend Danny Ramirez, more than 10 years after starring in Swift's "Bad Blood" music video.
Oscar winner Brad Pitt attended with jewelry designer Ines de Ramon, following their past appearance on an episode of the New Heights podcast hosted by the Kelces. Actress Dakota Johnson wore an asymmetrical black outfit for the festivities.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes shared a photo on their way to see Kelce and Swift reach the endzone in their relationship. Former New England Patriots players Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski attended together with Gronkowski's longtime girlfriend Camille Kostek.
"One hell of a (love) story," Edelman wrote on social media alongside photos from the event. "Congrats to Taylor and Travis Unbelievable day celebrating two incredible people."
Gabriella Brooks, who previously dated Swift's ex Matty Healy, attended with actor Liam Hemsworth and called the evening "the night of our lives" on Instagram. Singer Camila Cabello, who previously opened for Swift's Reputation tour, wore a deep V-neck dress to Madison Square Garden.
