Spanish pop group La Oreja de Van Gogh has released behind-the-scenes footage from a promotional photoshoot for their upcoming romantic musical film Puedes Contar Conmigo.
The short video clip, published by the production team, showcases the San Sebastián band alongside director Fernando González Molina and producers Beltrán Gortázar, Domingo Corral and Gonzalo Salazar-Simpson during initial promotional work for the project.

The feature film takes its name from the group's hit 2003 track Puedes contar conmigo, which featured on their studio album Lo que te conté mientras te hacías la dormida. Created and directed by González Molina, the movie features a screenplay co-written with Miguel López Martínez.
Arce Studios, Domingo Corral and LaZona are producing the romantic musical, with members of La Oreja de Van Gogh serving as executive producers. The promotional clip highlights a relaxed atmosphere and close rapport between the band members and the filmmaking team.
Production team presents initial project images
In a statement issued earlier in the week, members of La Oreja de Van Gogh expressed their enthusiasm for the cinematic adaptation, stating that seeing their music take on a new life on the big screen was a dream come true for the group.
The band members noted that they have always used their songs to tell stories, and knowing those narratives will inspire a visual universe fills them with excitement. They added that they are experiencing a beautiful phase in their career while feeling tremendous affection from their audience, describing the film as a wonderful celebration of their connection with fans.

Director Fernando González Molina stated that translating the universe of La Oreja de Van Gogh into an original story represents a massive challenge for him. He explained that directing the project fulfills a personal dream of updating classic romantic musicals into modern cinematic standards.
González Molina added that he aims to create a major cinematic event capable of moving moviegoers in the same way the band's repertoire has touched audiences for decades.
Return to performing and upcoming concerts
The commencement of the film project follows the successful stage return of La Oreja de Van Gogh with lead vocalist Amaia Montero. The group's reunion has drawn large crowds across Spain and resulted in sold-out concerts during the Latin American leg of their tour.
Following their sold-out venue dates in Latin America, the group is scheduled to perform across a series of music festivals in Spain during the upcoming summer season. Reflecting on her return to the microphone, Montero remarked that coming back to perform with the group felt as though no time had passed.
Formed in San Sebastián, Spain, La Oreja de Van Gogh reshaped Spanish pop music at the start of the 21st century. Their enduring hits include Rosas, an anthem that continues to achieve popularity and streaming milestones 23 years after its original release.
