Lee Mack was supported by his three children on Tuesday night as he accepted the Quiz Show award for the fourth consecutive year at the National Television Awards.

The 58-year-old comedian won the category for his series The 1% Club, beating Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win, Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel, Richard Osman’s House of Games and The Chase.

Accepting the award, Mack pointed out his children Arlo, 21, Louie, 19, and Millie, 14, in the audience.

Lee Mack was supported by his three rarely-seen children as he accepted the Quiz Show gong for the fourth consecutive year at the National Television Awards on Tuesday

"My kids don't usually come to these things, but my kids, Arlo, Millie and Louie are here," he said. "See, Dad is not a useless cretin, you're wrong!"

Lee made reference to his three children; Arlo, 21, Louie, 19 (pictured far left), and daughter Millie, 14, (pictured far right) in his hilarious speech

He thanked the show's team, saying: "I have so many people to thank, the brains behind the operation Andy, because I'm just the eye-candy. I'd like to thank everyone at magnum media we're like a family, can't remember everyone's name. That kind of family."

He added: "I want to thank my beautiful wife Tara, none of this would be possible without you and I want to thank my two ex-wives without whom this wouldn't be necessary. I don't really have ex-wives, I just like that gag."

The 1% Club begins with 100 contestants each starting with a stake of £1,000. It starts with a question that 90% of the public got right and narrows all the way down to the final 1% question.

Jeremy Clarkson discusses cancer

Elsewhere in the ceremony, Jeremy Clarkson's Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm won the Reality Docuseries category, beating At Home With The Furys, Fletchers’ Family Farm, Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing and Stacey & Joe.

The 66-year-old presenter made the shock revelation earlier this year that he was in remission from prostate cancer. Keeping his acceptance speech short and sweet, he later broke his silence on the illness at the winners' press conference.

"I wasn't emotional; it was annoying. I had a heart thing, and I had a bit of cancer but I wasn't away really, it was two weeks," he said. "It was, it was just annoying because I missed a lot of the harvest time."

Traitors and Strictly wins

Alan Carr collected the Reality Competition prize for The Celebrity Traitors, which beat I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, I’m A Celebrity... South Africa, Race Across the World and the regular civilian series of The Traitors.

Taking to the stage for the second time after receiving this year's Special Recognition award earlier in the programme, Carr joked: "I bet you're sick of me."

He was joined by fellow contestant Charlotte Church, who jumped on the microphone to praise Carr alongside Faithfuls Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga for a moment of "male tenderness and emotion".

The BBC hit hosted by Claudia Winkleman dominated the nominees, with its regular civilian series also nominated.

Strictly Come Dancing took home Best Talent Show ahead of its revamp this year, overcoming Britain’s Got Talent, The Great British Bake Off, The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer and The Great Pottery Throw Down.

This Morning continued its winning streak by taking Best Daytime. The programme's hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard collected the award alongside Friday presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, beating Good Morning Britain, James Martin’s Saturday Morning, Loose Women and Scam Interceptors.

Historic drama shortlist

McClure won against Ella Bruccoleri as Mary Bennet in The Other Bennet Sister, Judy Parfitt as Sister Monica Joan in Call the Midwife, Ruth Jones as Elena Ravenscroft in Run Away, and Sheridan Smith as Ann Ming in I Fought The Law.

I Fought the Law, led by Smith, won the New Drama gong, beating A Woman of Substance, Believe Me, Heated Rivalry and The Other Bennet Sister after an impressive performance.

Call The Midwife picked up Best Returning Drama ahead of Blue Lights, Bridgerton, Stranger Things and Trigger Point.

Cast member Jeff Hordley won Serial Drama Performance for his role as Cain Dingle, beating Aaron Thiara as Ravi Gulati and Paul Bradley as Nigel Bates from EastEnders, and Gareth Pierce as Todd Grimshaw and Sue Devaney as Debbie Webster from Coronation Street.

This year's Authored Documentary gong was awarded to the BBC’s special Our Girls: The Southport Families, overcoming films about Caroline Flack, Jesy Nelson, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, and Sir Chris Hoy.

Mrs Brown's Boys takes comedy

The cast of Mrs Brown’s Boys were ecstatic on hearing they had won Best Comedy Show, beating Amandaland, Changing Ends, Last One Laughing and Not Going Out.

The win will be a boost to creator Brendan O’Carroll, who was forced to cancel this year’s festive specials after breaking his jaw.

Gogglebox, now in its 28th series, was awarded the Factual Entertainment gong, beating 24 Hours in Police Custody, Secret Garden, Sort Your Life Out and The Martin Lewis Money Show Live.

The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award was awarded to Michael McIntyre's Big Show, after it was presented by Paris Fury and her eight-year-old daughter Valencia. The show beat Gladiators, The Graham Norton Show, The Masked Singer and Would I Lie to You?
